Two Custom Nanoose Homes

These photos are of two custom built homes in Nanoose. We did the exterior and interior painting for both houses. These homes allowed us to showcase our care for detail with their extensive amount of trims and crown mouldings.

The window casings and trims were made of different species of wood. We had to custom tint the varnish to accommodate for the different colours of wood. This ensured that the whole window unit appeared as one uniform colour.

The building schedule had us painting the exteriors in September and well into October. Temperature wise this is not an ideal situation, but the houses needed to be complete before they were put on the market. We had to order special paint from the United States that could be used during colder temperatures.

Although these houses were a lot of work, we had the opportunity to learn something new and enjoyed the experience. It was very satisfying to see the end results when they were done.
